Hi, Michael, you did an impressive job as Jerome.

Q1.) Had you seen La Femme Nikita before your were called in? What can you tell us about your audition?

MICHAEL: I had seen the show once or twice but that was it. My audition was pretty straight forward, I went in, read with the casting director and a few days letter we heard the good news about how I got it.

Q2.) How did you get along with the rest of the cast? Any stories you can tell us of your experience on the set?

MICHAEL:Everyone in the cast was extremely fun to work with and made it a very comfortable experience for me. They were all very welcoming and encouraging. Eugene Robert Glazer was great, always doing magic tricks and Matthew Ferguson joked around a lot. At the end of the episode, Peta gave me The Catcher In The Rye and signed the inside.

Q3.) Are you currently working now and what is your next project?

MICHAEL:
I've just finished up working on Arrested Development and for now I'm just doing school and auditioning.

Q4.) Did you go to school while you were acting? I was always curious about how young actors manage to do both things at the same time.

MICHAEL:Well production is required to supply me with a tutor, so the tutor works with me and we send work back and fourth and try to keep up with the school.

Thank you

Michael, I'd like to thank you for allowing us to interview you.

Q5.) Did you find that the cast and crew of La Femme Nikita was easy to work with within its technology world and jargon?

MICHAEL:
Yes, everyone including the entire crew was very easy to get along with, and it was great seeing all of the sets with the technology and gadgets.

Q6.) Did you have to learn any special moves or terms of speech to perform in the series La Femme Nikita?

MICHAEL:There wasn't really anything that I was required to learn for this show, other than rolling back and fourth on a chair with wheels.

Q7.) You do such a great job, do you think, as you grow into adulthood, that acting is something you want to continue ?

MICHAEL:
I would love to continue acting into my adulthood, however I am also very interested in writing and possibly directing. I guess I'll just see what happens for now with my show and hope for the best.

Q8.) When you work on a series or movie, do you usually stay in the area that you live or does your career cause you to go to other locations? With your career, which locations have you got to travel to?

MICHAEL:
I've only ever had to live away from home when working in L.A. and Quebec because when I shot in those locations it was for longer periods of time. Other than that I just fly back and fourth and normally stay in a hotel, or my own house if it's close enough. Over the years I've had the chance to fly to Quebec City, New York, Montreal, and of course L.A.

Q9.) I would imagine in your earlier career, an adult would have to accompany you, is this still the case or do you enjoy traveling alone?

MICHAEL:
Well it's still the case now because I am under 18. My mom comes with me wherever I go, however I can't really picture myself going alone when I'm older either.

Q10.) Any particular person, thing, item do you take along with you when you're filming?

MICHAEL:
My mother comes with me most of the time, sometimes my dad will come instead. I try to bring my guitar with me whenever we're going to be away for a while, but otherwise nothing in particular.

Q11.) Do you find this difficult to try and learn the script and also do all your schoolwork? And how do you separate the two?

MICHAEL:It's never really a case of memorizing the script. I always just make sure I know the material and am very comfortable with it, then when I get on set I use my sides and once you've rehearsed the scene a few times it sticks with you. Then I just run off and do school whenever I have a break.

Q12.) There was a scene in the episode HCFF, where the character of Michael, picked you up and got you back in the car, through the window. It was quite a spontaneous move, was this scripted or improvised?

MICHAEL:
This scene was actually scripted, but Roy Dupuis does such a great job in it it seems entirely out of nowhere.

Q13.) What do you like to do in your spare time?

MICHAEL: I play guitar, hang out with friends, play a lot of cards and watch tv.

Q14.) How did you prepare for the role of Jerome?

MICHAEL:Basically just went to a salon, got my hair bleached, and the creepiness came naturally.

Thank you for taking the time to answer our questions

Q15.)On La Femme Nikita, How did you feel being put in the cube being confined, and how many takes did it take do do that scene?

MICHAEL:We only did that about 5 times, but I had a lot of fun doing that. It's not everyday you sit in a glass cube and get pushed around, for some people anyways

Q16.) I seen you in the movie, "Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind". What was it like working with George Clooney and Brad Pitt?

MICHAEL:
Well I never actually met Brad Pitt, him and Matt Damon had brief cameos on that movie and I wasn't working on those days unfortunately. But George Clooney was excellent to be around, always had lunch with the crew and did a great job directing the movie.

Q17.) Michael, I knew I had seen you before La Femme Nikita. The movie 'Frequency'. You must tell us what Dennis Quaid is really like?

MICHAEL: I was lucky enough to meet and get a photo with Dennis and he was very pleasant and gladly smiled for the picture.

Q18.) Do you want to become a major 'star' or a major 'actor'?
Do you act for the fame or the fun?

MICHAEL:
I definitely act for the fun of it. The fame part isn't why anyone should act because it rarely happens and when it does it can really change your life. I've been recognized about 3 times from Arrested Development and can only imagine what some actors must experience being recognized everyday.

Q19.) When did you realize that La Femme Nikita had achieved such a cult following?

MICHAEL:Well I knew that it had been a popular show even before I worked on it.

Q20.) Do you have any memories of what it was like working with the cast of La Femme Nikita that you could share with us?

MICHAEL:The entire cast was always joking and doing magic tricks or just kidding around and it made me very comfortable, especially since they were all familiar with each other and I was joining for the first time.

Q21.) How did you feel about your role in the series? Then and now?

MICHAEL:Then and now, it was a very fun part to play and a great oppurtunity. I had the chance to do some very cool things

Thank you for your time with us.

Q22.)Was it fun to play the part of Jerome in La Femme Nikita and have all those special mental powers? Did you enjoy it?

Q23.) Will acting always be in your life, or is there another trade that interests you for your future?

MICHAEL:
Right now I am very interested in acting and I'm having the time of ym life, but I guess I'll have to wait in see what the future has in store.

Q24.) You've done quite a bit of work, and tremendously talented, What was your favorite role and why?

MICHAEL:Thank you. My favorite role would probably be Larrabe Hicks on I was A Sixth Grade Alien, just because I got to do a lot of different things on that show and work with kids my own age for two seasons.

Q25.) On the La Femme Nikita episode "He Came >From Four, Were there any bloopers or out-takes that happened on the set , that you experienced or saw?

MICHAEL:I can't really recall any major bloopers or out-takes from the week that I was there.

Q26.) Can you describe your average day on the set of La Femme Nikita from arrival to departure?

MICHAEL:On Nikita I would come in, normally have some breakfast, go do a few scenes then hop into school, have lunch, do some more scenes and head home. However this would be on a particularly busy day, they would vary depending on the number of scenes I had that day.

Q27.) What geared your interest towards acting?

MICHAEL:
I've always wanted to act since I was four years old. I'm not quite sure why but it just always seemed like something I wanted to do.

Q28.)You made a particular turn of the head as the episode fades out, with a look in your face that haunted me so,left me still seeing the image of you for a minute in time, it was truly effectual, What were you thinking at that moment?

MICHAEL:That look at the end was actually not scripted and not a head turn that was meant by me to be in character. I heard cut and just turned my head to the camera and don't think anyone really thought anything of it at the time, but then when they put in that music and threw it in at the end, I thought it was a great way to end the episode.
